Singapore, 1 October 2018 –
Close to 800 timepieces sourced from around the world were on showcase at Singapore’s first pre-loved timepiece festival, FACES OF TIME presented by LuxeSTYLE by Maxi-Cash, held at Suntec Convention Centre from 28 to 30 September which attracted about 5,000 watch lovers.

Free for public to attend, the three-day event featured vintage, discontinued, limited editions and highly sought-after watches on discount of up to 30% off as well as selected pre-loved luxury bags and branded jewellery on discount up to 57% off.

Through its network of trusted suppliers, LuxeSTYLE by Maxi-Cash managed to procure a number of iconic timepieces such as the rare Patek Philippe pocket watch fully handmade in 1972 which houses a minute-repeater and a perpetual calendar with moon phases. These pocket watches were made to order, with only five such pieces in the world to date.
Debuting in Singapore at the festival, Jewelmer, an international luxury jewellery brand featuring exquisite golden pearls cultivated from the South Sea will soon be available in Singapore, exclusively at Maxi-Cash at Northpoint, as well as Citigems at Ion Orchard and Tampines Mall.

FACES OF TIME was the first event organised by LuxeSTYLE to cater to the growing interest in horology in Singapore. Since launching LuxeSTYLE in 2017, a retail concept offering authentic luxury goods, Maxi-Cash has seen double-digit growth in the demand for pre-loved luxury goods. In particular, sales for timepieces has tripled and doubled for luxury leather goods.

“The reception for our first timepiece event was a success, testament to the growing interest and appreciation for quality timepieces here and encouraging for our future plans ahead,” says Mr. Ng Leok Cheng, CEO of Maxi-Cash (left in picture). “We intend to expand our offering of luxury products to our customers and will consider similar events in the future.”
